Awarded once again: Tatonka’s Skill and Glacier Point

Two of Tatonka’s hiking backpacks can adorn with laurels: Our Skill was honored by the Editor’s Choice Award of the “outdoor” magazine; already last year the huge hiking and touring backpack Glacier Point 40 was issued with the hiking magazine’s quality seal “audited hiking quality”.

Once a year the “outdoor” ennobles high quality product with the Editor’s Choice Award. These products set standards in practical and laboratory testing. Skill could convince the jury (especially Boris Gnielka) with its extraordinary ventilation and its excellent load control. Furthermore it impresses with a stretchable back system. You can read the whole report in the current print edition of “outdoor” (March 2016).

The Wandermagazin has been testing six huge hiking backpacks for multi-day tours and evaluated the Glacier Point 40 with grade A. High praise was given for the numerous equipment details that make the backpack the perfect companion for multi-day tours. Glacier Point 40 also impresses with the X Vent Zero Plus Carrying system (in this case it is additionally height-adjustable), its ventilation and the effective load control. The test subjects’ conclusion: It scores 90% of the possible points and due to this, not only gets the best mark, but also the hiking magazine’s quality seal.

Glacier Point is by the way the women’s version of the Kings Peak.
