Kapok, the downy fiber from the pods of the kapok tree, can be spun in a blend with other fibers and gives our daypacks their timeless, casual cotton look.
Recycled polyester is used for both the main material and the lining of our Kapok daypacks. And of course they have a PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish.
Our Kapok daypacks are part of Tatonka’s All Day Tough products, which come with an extended product warranty of ten years.
Our backpacks are produced fairly in our own SA8000-certified production facilities. You can also see the high social standards for yourself through our Open Factory program: Every Friday you can visit the Mountech Co. Ltd. factory in Ho Chi Minh City during ongoing production.
