RFID technology is on the rise: electronically stored data on RFID chips, which are built into credit cards, smartphones or ID cards, for example, can be read quickly and contactlessly using near-field technology. But this also arouses criminal energies, which is why documents and devices equipped in this way should be protected.

The Check In RFID Block blocks the radio waves thanks to the integrated CRYPTALLOY® film – making data theft impossible. The Check In RFID Block can be worn over the shoulder or carried on the belt. It has a large main compartment with a zipper and additional zippered compartments on and under the lid.

The bag is made from partially recycled material and has a PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish.

Additional information:

Tatonka uses a CRYPTALLOY® film in all its RFID block products. This offers maximum shielding in all relevant RFID frequency ranges (from 100 kHz to 4 GHz, i.e. low frequency range, high frequency range and ultra-high frequency range). The protective film also interferes with radio traffic by shifting the frequency. The functionality of the CRYPTALLOY® film has been tested and verified by TÜV Saarland.

The manufacturer of the film, Kryptronic Technologies Munich, has now confirmed and certified Tatonka’s prescribed processing of the film in all RFID block products.
