Tarps are lightweight and versatile companions for outdoor activities. The tarpaulins can be set up to form a rudimentary tent, serve as a sun awning or rain canopy when camping or protect equipment from the wet.

If you are looking for a tarp to replace a tent on your solo trips, choose our Tarp Wing 1 LT or Tarp Wing 2 LT. Both can also be used as a hammock tarp. The larger Tarp Wing 3 LT is suitable for two people. These waterproof tarps are ultra-light, highly tear-resistant and have a minimal pack size. Thanks to their special cut, they can be set up in different ways and tensioned perfectly.
Our rectangular Tarp 1, Tarp 2 and Tarp 4 models made of waterproof polyester material are also suitable as a robust tent on tour. However, they can also be set up as rain or sun protection on the campsite.
The cotton tarps TC in four different sizes are designed as sun sails, especially for use in warm regions. The tear-resistant cotton blend fabric offers very good sun protection and UV stability even in strong sunlight. However, these tarps are not waterproof.
Tarps can be set up in many different ways, either with the help of tarp poles or creatively using the possibilities offered by nature or your own equipment. All Tatonka tarps have reinforced corners, are equipped with eyelets to hold the tarp poles and have various loops and guy points. They are also supplied with a sufficient number of guy ropes.
