A trekking backpack with a volume of 60 liters is the right choice for trekking tours lasting two to several weeks or long backpacking trips. It can hold a lot of equipment or luggage and you can carry it comfortably without straining your back.
A 60-liter trekking backpack has a divided pack sack with a bottom compartment that you can open separately. The height-adjustable lid allows you a certain amount of variability in the “payload” – you can use the height of the snow guard and thus gain approx. 10 liters in volume (this is why our trekking backpacks with 60 liters, such as the Yukon 60+10 or the Yukon 60+10 Women, have the corresponding addition in the volume specification). The large main compartment, front and side pockets as well as the lid compartment allow you to organize your equipment in a practical way, and the large front opening into the main compartment makes packing and quick access easier. Material loops and compression straps are used to attach equipment to the outside of the backpack and – in the case of the compression straps – also to secure your luggage inside the backpack.
A trekking backpack with a volume of 60 liters must have a high-performance carrying system so that you can carry it comfortably over long distances. Thanks to the special design and the elaborately padded hip belt, part of the load is transferred to the pelvic region, which relieves pressure on the shoulders and spine. The ergonomically shaped back padding offers a high level of comfort on the upper back.
