The Norix 31 Women hiking backpack is a very good choice if you like to tackle more difficult routes or via ferratas in the mountains. As the name suggests, its contact back carrying system is firmly attached to the back, so the backpack does not wobble back and forth even when scrambling. The shoulder straps of the women’s hiking backpack are adapted to the female anatomy. The back padding offers pleasant air circulation thanks to the ventilation channel, and the hip belt and chest strap ensure that the hiking backpack is optimally secured.

Special features for via ferrata

You can use the gear loops on the hip belt and shoulder straps to attach the carabiners from the via ferrata set if you need to tackle passages without a safety harness. You can remove the hip belt if you are wearing a climbing harness. The Norix 31 Women also has a climbing helmet attachment on the front.

Access to the main compartment from the back and a variety of storage options

For optimum access to all items in the main compartment, you can pull the backpack open completely with an all-round zipper on the back. This is also practical because you don’t have to put the carrying system on the (wet) ground – or in the snow on winter tours.

In addition to the main compartment, the Norix 31 Women features a lid compartment, an elasticated front pocket and elasticated side pockets for stowing equipment, as well as gear loops on the front and elasticated drawstrings on the lid and at the bottom.

Hydration system preparation, hiking pole holder and a rain cover stowed in the bottom compartment complete the features.

The Norix 31 Women has a PFAS-free DWR finish.
