The choice of a kid’s backpack depends on the child’s age and build. For young children, children’s backpacks are primarily used as daycare backpacks. Larger children’s backpacks may also be designed as hiking backpacks for children. In that case, they feature a carrying system with a hip belt that transfers part of the load to the hips, thereby relieving pressure on the shoulders and spine.
