Handy daypack for bushcraft and everyday carry: Tatonka EDC Pack 23 BC

You can use the EDC Pack 23 BC for your wilderness weekend or as a robust daypack for every day (EDC = Everyday Carry): Depending on the intended use, you can equip it individually inside and out with additional pockets or other equipment from the bushcraft collection from Tatonka.

The daypack has a volume of 23 liters and is made from extremely durable Cordura® material. It can be opened completely with an all-round zipper, making it easy to load and organize.

Hook-and-loop surfaces in the main compartment for attaching accessory pouches

The front and back of the EDC Pack 23 BC’s main compartment are lined with hook-and-loop surfaces to which you can easily attach small pouches with hook and loop backing. This means your backpack is always clearly organized on the inside. We have developed the EDC Organisation Set (item no. 2015) with four pouches and two hook-and-loop compression straps to fit the backpack perfectly. The Notebook Sleeve (item no. 2016) can also be attached to the back panel for use as a school, office or university backpack.

Clever side and front pockets

The backpack has a side pocket with zipper volume expansion, a side pocket especially for bulky equipment and two front pockets with zippers. The lower front pocket is covered by the perforated, modular fastening system and is therefore designed as a “wet compartment”. There is also a removable panel with a neon-colored or reflective side, which can be used if increased visibility is required. There is a 10 x 5 cm hook-and-loop surface on the front of the backpack for attaching patches.

Molle-compatible modular fastening system on the front

Thanks to the modular fastening system on the front, you can equip the EDC Pack 23 BC with additional pouches on the front. For example, you can use the Universal Pouches from Tatonka (item no. 3032, 3033, 3034, 3035) or pouches from other manufacturers with a Molle system (MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment). And of course you can also attach other equipment.

  Composition 100% polyamide

  The classic Cordura® material is made from high-strength, air-textured nylon 6.6 in 500 denier thread count and, like all Cordura® brand fabrics, is characterized by lasting stability and high abrasion and tear resistance. The material is PFC/PFAS-free.

  420 HD Nylon FD

  Composition 100% Polyamide

  The classic 420 den nylon material proves itself in the “High Density” (HD) version as a good base material, which can be used flexibly. The 420 den thread results in a high tear strength, at the same time this FD yarn (Full-Dull) gives the material a matt surface. The triple PU coating makes it waterproof. The material has a PFC/PFAS-free finish.
